Gurgaon: After a pilot run, a system with smart devices to help modulate water supply and plug any leaks or thefts will be installed in a pipeline that caters to over a dozen sectors in the city, GMDA officials said on Tuesday. Officials said the Central Integrated Water Management System (CIWMS) will be installed in the water supply network from the Basai treatment plant to the boosting station in Sector 16. A Parliamentary panel report has flagged the large market share of foreign-owned fintech apps in the Indian market. The Parliamentary standing committee on communications and information technology has flagged dominant presence of apps such as Walmart-owned PhonePe and Google-owned Google Pay in the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) segment.
